Okay, I'm not going to talk about the neglect that I've given my poor livejournal over the past few months 'cause that would take too long. I do apologize. Poor thing.

So I hope all of my livejournal buddies are doing splendidly! It's been so long, dahlings! Not much has changed in the world of Rachel except that I am now a junior at Kodiak High School which doesn't seem much different from being a sophomore (except the disgusting amount of homework we seem to have this year; it's revolting). Classes are fine, Film and/as Literature is a nice addition to the ol' schedule this year. I received my progress report today and it's the first class I've gotten over 100% in since... well, as long as I can remember. It's a college class too! I hope I keep it up.

Alright, school is not the most exciting subject. Let's talk about what I know ya'll are dying to hear.

Oh yeah. Ollie.

Tonight- had a rehearsal for the play Shenandoah that I'm in. Ollie's my husband again and this time we're young and in love and I'm with child. Uh yeah, his child (ya'll know what that means). Heh heh. Beside the fact that Ollie apparently thinks he's allowed to hug me and TOUCH MY STOMACH and be all gushy on and off stage...it's kinda romantical.

Or maybe HORRIFYING is a better word. I mean, even though I noticed his sweatshirt was totally soft as he was carrying me around today when I was supposed to be acting like I had gone into labor, and even though he got all cool this summer after he cut all those moles off his face and bleached his hair and lost a few pounds, he's still OLLIE and it's still NASTY. WHYYYYY must I endure this for the second year? Is it my fate to be married to Ollie for the rest of my life? He'll probably be rich when he grows up, but c'mon. You know the sex'll be awful.

Hahahahaha. Just kidding, Hannah. Even though I'm sure it's true. I don't want to find out. I don't think anyone does... I don't think Ollie ever will. Meeheehee.

Despite all this, I still think Ollie's a dear. Really he is.

It is burnt and red and hurts quite a bit, but it's only one finger. My hands are getting ugly. Zee tragedee.

It's nine-eighteen and here I am at work, on the computer. I came in at nine today, but apparently I was supposed to start at TEN. That could have been a whole hour longer of peaceful slumber! But no! I am here, on this annoying (yet very high-tech looking and pretty) APPLE (yuck) computer for another forty minutes until I start work. Work, work, work for another SEVEN HOURS.

Lovely.

In other news, I'm going to a "concert" tonight that is being thrown on by a few crazy guys I know. A few of our local highschool bands are playing, all down on Thor's lawn. Over the past few days at school, they've been passing out flyers with strange pictures of Yeti (?) on them saying "Bring girls! No Police! And food! Lots of Food!" and things of the sort, which were actually quite hilarious. One one poster, my favorite, they made up bands with all the teacher's names like "Avil LeVan" (Avril Lavigne/Mr. Levan. SCARY CONCEPT.) and "The Chad Pyscher Experience" (Our super groovy Spanish teacher). Thor and Alex went to the Salvation army and bought a bunch of nasty shirts and stenciled "Thorstock" on them all. They're charging a dollar for them. I hope they get a nice turnout, because it all seems pretty hysterical.

Ah, highschool. I really don't like it very much.

9:28... About half an hour left. Yippie.

William Shakespeare was NOT an ostrich. He was also in no way, shape, or form, a toad. William Shakespeare was a man, for the most part, and he wanted to keep it that way.
One day, William Shakespeare decided he wanted to write a poem. So he did. It was at this point that made the most extraordinary and life-changing decision in his life. This decision was to become a playwright and write many many many plays and poems and sonnets that are also poems. He slept with a few women. They made movies about it. William Shakespeare was not a purple ewe. Do you know what an ewe is? Me neither. Now, on the day that William decided that he would shave his foot, he also went to the post office and send a letter to the queen of England, that went like this:
Dear Elizabeth,
You are lovely. I want you.
Yours truly,
William
Now, Queen Elizabeth was not at all impressed with the letter that came from this supposed “poet”. In fact, she was almost certain that her very own swine-herder had sent her more fabulous and romantic letters. She decided that this man named William Shakespeare was going to have to be destroyed.
On a specific evening in the middle of September, when the worms were wet and the leaves were dry, almost all signs of drunken bastards pointed towards the Schnoggondozff Inn. This is exactly where we find our young Will. Of course, you are probably wondering why on earth our tragic hero is a drunken bastard, and probably upon reading this sentence you are wondering why Will is a tragic hero. You may or may not find that out. I haven’t quite decided yet. I can, however, tell you how and why and the exact circumstances that William Shakespeare came to be a drunken bastard on this specific September Evening.
It was precisely three thirty-two in the afternoon when William was sitting at the kitchen table, gnawing on a large burnt leg of some sort of beastly animal, and enjoying a cold glass of lemonade. Lemonade happened to be William’s most favorite beverage of all time, and he especially enjoyed it next to a large burnt leg of beast. Anyway, William was content at this point, and he assumed that the rest of his family was too, as they all sat around the kitchen table gnawing away at their own, slightly smaller proportions of meaty beast.
”Anne, dear, might thee passeth the g’ravy to’ward this wayeth, so that your dear’st husband might enjoyeth a spot of de’licious gravy madeth from the beautiful, delicate hands of his wife?”
His wife, Anne Hathaway, who actually happened to have a spot of the very gravy on her nose (William noticed this, but he couldn’t muster up the courage to tell her), simply stared at him.
William, slightly irked because he really was wanting a spot of gravy for his beast, gave it another try.
”Anne, dear, might thee passeth-“
”I HEARD YOU THE FIRST TIME, WILLIAM,” Anne suddenly snapped.
How odd, thought William. For if she heard him, why in God’s name did she not pass it to him? Did she take some form of devilish pleasure in depriving her good husband of his gravy? He felt he should voice his concern.
”If you heard me the first time, then why on God’s name did you not pass it to me? Do you take some form of devilish pleasure in depriving your good husband, namely ME, of his gravy? Is that what it is, Anne?”
His wife simply glared at him for a moment before saying, in a rather nasty voice,
”How dare you lecture me about devilish pleasure, William!”
Well, this was shocking.
”Whatever are you talking about, Anne? Prithee tell!”
”SHUT UP, YOU FILTHY BASTARD!” (Now, you see, this is where the bastard part comes in. More later.)

Oooh, creepy experience today, ya'll.

I had just finished my dentist appointment and I was waiting out in front of it for my mom to pick me up. The dentist office is on our "mall", so it's connected to quite a few other stores. Kinda like a little town square sort of thing, very pathetic. Anyways, so I was out front which just so happened to be right next to a liquor store. As I was waiting, this guy walked out of the liquor store and said to me "Wow, that's a very pretty purse. Where did you get it?"
I told him that my friend had gotten it for me. The guy was incredibly creepy. Long dirty-ish hair with a funky purple hat on, messy, probably missing a few teeth...very scary.
He continued to pursue the conversation. "Wow, it's very pretty. Where'd she get it?"
"I'm not sure, actually." I was trying to avoid any conversation.
"Oh. Well, it's real cool. It looks like a French cafe or something."
"Mmm-hmm." I was beginning to wonder where on earth my mother was and what the hell was taking her so long because this guy was scaring me. I wanted him to go away.
"So, where are you from?"
"Here."
"Oh, really? I'm from Juno, but I only lived there for a few years before I came here. I've been here for a year and one week. I like it here a lot. It's a cool place. Kodiak is cool. Juneau was alright but it was kinda boring. I like Kodiak a lot better...[insert more blah here]"
"Yep, it's a nice place." I just kept sort of backing up after everything he said, he wouldn't stop talking. Freaky guy.
"Yeah, well, my mom is from Northern England, but I was born here. My sister was born in blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah (etc)."
"Ohh."
He continued to talk and talk and talk and talk and I sort of just kept walking back to the dentist door. He asked me a few more questions I think, I just nodded and answered stupidly. I was so scared. I mean, the guy just came out of a liquor store and there wasn't anyone else there. And it was in the middle of the day, and he probably thought I was older than I am or something because I wasn't at school obviously. He talked some more about his name being Tim just like Tim Allen the actor and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah and finally he started to walk backwards while he was talking. He told me "Well, maybe you could stop down sometime at the boat (I suppose he meant his fishing vessel. I think he said something about him fishing.) and I'll buy you a cup of coffee or a doughnut or something."
I told him buy and that it was nice meeting him. And then I ran inside the dentist office and waited for my mom to come get me. It was quite the traumatic experience.

So that is my story about Tim. Beware yucky men in purple hats.
